Membership in the NARR offers you unlimited access to the online database.  You will have generations of information at your fingertips!  You have online access to pedigrees, siblings, half siblings, offspring on your rats you've bred and rats you've purchased from other breeders.

As a breeder you will have another method of tracking rats you've produced.  You can also select whether rats are breeding or pet only.  Offspring of pet only registered rats are not eligible for registration.  This "limited registration" helps to ensure that only quality animals are bred.

All members receive:

  • Unlimited access to the registry database online.
  • Registration of your Rattery Name and Prefix if you are a breeder or thinking about breeding - Register yours before someone else does!

Regular Membership ~ $8.00

  • Includes four (4) pre-paid rat registrations - these can be used for individual rat registrations or litter member registrations
  • Includes four (4) transfers of ownership. (Rats acquired from Gold or Gold Plus members do not count towards this total)
  • Additional rat registrations, litter registrations, and transfers are discounted 50% from non-member prices.
  • Regular membership is probably not the option you should choose as a breeder, unless you only have one litters a year and do not plan on registering all litter members.

Silver Membership ~ $15.00

  • Includes twelve (12) pre-paid rat registrations - these can be used for individual rat registrations or litter member registrations.
  • Includes five (5) transfers of ownership. (Rats acquired from Gold or Gold Plus members do not count towards this total)
  • Includes four (4) pre-paid litter number applications for litters you have bred.
  • Additional rat registrations and any litter registrations are discounted 50% from non-member prices.
  • Silver membership works best for small ratteries with just a couple litters per year.

Gold Membership ~ $25.00

  • Includes unlimited pre-paid rat registrations - these can be used for individual rat registrations or litter member registrations.
  • Includes unlimited pre-paid litter number applications for litters you have bred.
  • Includes unlimited transfers of ownership from another breeder/owner to you.
  • Includes unlimited transfers of ownership to another NARR member. You also get ten (10) ownership transfers to non-members.
  • Gold membership works best for most ratteries unless the majority of your rats are transferred to non-members.

    You may add the "Plus" option to the Gold Membership for $15.00 more and receive:

    • Unlimited pre-paid transfers to new owners - you can change the ownership of any rat you owned or bred and then placed.
    • Gold Membership with the plus option is best for those ratteries who want to register every rat bred or placed from their rattery, without paying additional fees. The cost of registering one litter of littermates pays for the "plus" option alone.

Have you read our terms of service, FAQ, and rules? Have you taken the free tour and are ready to join? Complete, print, and sign one of the following forms and send it to NARR today! Be sure to select the membership option that is right for you, and include a check or money order for your dues with your membership application. Alternately you may use PayPal to pay your dues by sending the appropriate amount for membership plus a small amount to cover paypal's fees (an additional $1.51 for $40 payment, $1.03 for $25.00 payment, 76¢ for $15.00 payment, and 53¢ for $8.00 payment) to paypal at ratregistry dot org. Before membership will be activated, a signed application must be received via fax, email, or snail mail, as well as applicable dues. Email NARR for the fax number if you wish to fax your form.

Please put your working email address that you check regularly on the form. Many people are putting rattery emails that they do not check regularly and not getting important NARR emails.
