Group Litter Membership

Use this form to register an entire litter of up to 16 rats at once. All registrations will need to be transferred to new owners at a later date, using either the Transfer of Ownership form or the Multiple Transfer of Ownership form. This form is useful for breeders who prefer to register all of their rats before they are placed.

To register an entire litter using the Group Litter Membership form:

  1. Download the form here: (Right-click and select "save target as" if the form fails to load in the browser)
    grouplittermember.pdf
    267kb
  2. On the form, mark the appropriate membership type that applies to you.
  3. Enter your information in the spaces provided for "Breeder's Information" - be sure you enter a correct and current e-mail address, as this is how your rat registration numbers will be sent to you.
  4. Enter the litter information - the litter number and the DOB
  5. Enter the information about each rat in the litter to be registered.
    • The name of each rat is limited to 28 characters including any prefix or suffix, spaces, and punctuation.
    • Please be as specific as possible regarding color, markings, and type.
    • Mark pet only as "yes" or "no" depending on if the rat is to be pet only (i.e. mark "no" for rats placed for breeding)
    • If there are more than 16 rats in a litter, list them on a separate sheet of paper, using the same information as is requested on the original form.
  6. Print, sign, date, and mail the application with the appropriate fees (if applicable), or fax the form to the number listed on the member's only page of the main site.
  7. Your rat registration numbers will be e-mailed to you after the application is received and the information entered into the database (typically this takes less than a week, but could take slightly longer).

Please remember: All rats registered this way will be registered in the Breeder's name. They will then need to be transferred (via single transfer or multiple transfer) to new owners at the time of adoption.
